About Us

We are Ray Ebarb and Caitlyn Spiritus. We are RECS, an independent creative studio for film and photography.​ As a duo, we work from idea to execution out of our Chicago-based headquarters where we design, shoot, and edit. Our projects include campaigns, commercials, photography and animation. ​

We love to build worlds that play with the real and imaginative, placing a strong focus on art direction and carefully arranging colors & compositions. As a result, our work is defined by a playful and cinematic approach influenced by art house movies and studio art.
